Information & Rules

The home person shall provide one new unopened can of tennis balls for the match.

Players are encouraged to contact each other to set up a mutually agreeable time to play their match. If they cannot, their match is automatically scheduled for the time listed on the schedule. In setting up an alternative time, players may reserve an available court at CORP by calling the office at 677-1334. Players should schedule their match to play before the officially scheduled "default" or regular time.

Please note that court assignments on the schedules are subject to change. Please check in with the CORP office for actual assignments.

At the end of the season, the top two players in each group will move up to the next group, while the bottom two players will move down to the next group.

The format of play is best of three sets, regular scoring (ad) with a tie-break at 6 all in each set.

Ties in the standings at season's end will resolve in the following order of precedence:

• Head to head results
• Loser of fewer sets
• Loser of fewer games

Upon completing their match players should report their scores to the CORP office or e-mail dav@hawaiitennis.org. Players not reporting scores or appearing for their scheduled time will receive a double default.

A default will be entered as a 6-0, 6-0 score.
