Sport Psychologist Roland Carlstedt to give Free Sports
Performance Seminar
followed by King/Queen of the Court Competitions
Dr. Roland A. Carlstedt will present a seminar on Sport Psychology and
his mental training protocol on Friday evening, July 30th from 6:30-8:00pm
at the Central Oahu Regional Park Tennis Complex. The seminar is part
of the American Psychological Association's Division 47 Sport Psychology
"give-away-athon" during the APA annual convention in Honolulu,
and therefore free of charge for attendees.
Dr. Carlstedt is the Chairman, Executive Director and Head Mentor of
the American Board of Sport Psychology and a Faculty member at Capella
University: Harold Abel School of Psychology. Carlstedt has isolated key
psychophysiological and brain processes as being crucial to peak performance

Dr. Carlstedt is an internationally renowned practitioner and researcher
whose most recent book Critical Moments During Competition is being released
by Psychology Press during the convention week. Dr. Carlstedt will also

Attendees have the opportunity for assessment on the basis of his protocol
on Saturday for a fee. The media will also have the opportunity to interview
