Foundation to Honor Davinae Cabatingan as 2004 Employee of the Year
The Hawaii-Pacific Tennis Foundation will honor Davinae Cabatingan as
its 2004 Employee of the Year. The Foundation will present the award to
Cabatingan at its Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet at Neptune’s
Garden Restaurant at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki from 6:00 to 9:00
pm on Sunday, December 19, 2004.
Dav, with a legal, accounting and graphic design background, serves the
Foundation as office manager, Tennis Buddy mentor coordinator
and website developer. "Dav embodies the ideals of the Foundation
with her honesty, integrity, self-initiative, teamwork and emphasis on
customer service. Dav is an ideal employee who is passionately committed
to tennis and people. She is fully engaged in our service to Hawaii's
tennis public" says Foundation executive director, Mark Beede. According
to Beede, "Dav understands that achieving excellence lies in the
details. She is a self-starter who anticipates developments and acts accordingly.
She is a true pleasure to work with. Dav understands how she fits into
the big picture and attends to the details to serve us all. She does what
it takes to make things better." Cabatingan is an avid tennis player
who lives with her husband Alvin, son Vash and three dogs in Wahiawa.
The Hawaii-Pacific Tennis Foundation is a not for profit 501(c)(3) charitable
