Spring 2004

Congratulations to Gary Jose-3.0, Tass Jamarillo-3.5 & Kien Tran-4.0 Individual Tournament Champions!

Congratulations to Tahilan - Team Tournament Champion!

Team competition consisting of four men's singles matches at the following levels: 1) 4.0 or below, 2) 3.5 or below, 3) 3.5 or below, 4) 3.0 or below.

  • Teams consists of a minimum of 4 players and maximum of 8
  • Team scoring consists of one point for each individual match won.
    In the event of a tie, position 1) will play a 10 point super-tiebreaker to determine the team victor.

Match Format: Best of three sets, regular scoring, with a super-tiebreaker played in lieu of a third set.

Season: The overall season consists of five weeks as follows:

  1. Weeks 1-3: Round-Robin Team Competition (Round Robin)
  2. Week 4: Team playoff
  3. Week 5: Individual/Team Tournament (Sat., May 1 & Sun., May 2)
    • Combined single elimination individual/team tournament. Each individual match won will count one point for the team competition

When: March 29 - May 2, 2004
Play on weeks one through four will take place on Monday and Friday evenings at the CORP Tennis Complex from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm, starting Monday, March 29. Week 5 will be held on May 1 & 2.

Cost: $20 per person (USTA membership required)
payable to Oahu District Tennis Association (ODTA).
