The Men's Singles Fun League

Fall 2004

TEAM COMPETITION consisting of five men's singles matches at the following levels: 1) 4.5 or below, 2) 4.0 or below, 3) 3.5 or below, 4) 3.5 or below, and 5) 3.0 or below.

  • Teams consists of a minimum of 6 players and maximum of 10
  • Team scoring consists of one point for each individual match won.

MATCH FORMAT: Best of three sets, regular scoring, with a super-tiebreaker played in lieu of a third set.

SEASON: The overall season consists of five weeks as follows:

  1. Weeks 1-3: Round-Robin Team Competition (Round Robin)
  2. Week 4: Team playoff
  3. Week 5: Individual/Team Tournament (Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7)
    • Combined single elimination individual/team tournament. Each individual match won will count as one point for the team competition

WHEN: October 4 through November 7, 2004
Play on weeks one through four will take place on Monday and Friday evenings at the CORP Tennis Complex from 6:45 pm to 9:45 PM, starting Monday, October 4. Week 5 will be held on November 6 & 7.

COST: $20 per person (USTA membership required)
payable to Oahu District Tennis Association (ODTA).
