The Hawaii Pacific Tennis Foundation is hosting the “2006 Hawaii Pacific Wheelchair Championships” Tennis Tournament an ITF Futures Event, Part of the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour at Central Oahu Regional Park Tennis Complex. The Men’s Singles Quarter-Finals matches are scheduled for 12:30 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2006. Semi-Final Matches will be played on Friday starting at 2:30 pm with Finals starting on Saturday at 2:00 pm.

Anthony Lara from Chino, California is the top seed, with Antoly Polyatykin from St. Petersburg Russia. Kaitlyn Verfuerth from Rancho Cucamonga, California is the top women’s seed.

We encourage everyone to come out and see what these athletes in wheelchairs can do. It will be an inspirational and exciting event to watch. Admission is free for all spectators.
